● Welcome to Athens! Upon arrival, you'll be picked up and driven to the hotel to relax and unwind.

● See Athens’s most famous sights today: the Acropolis, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Greek Parliament, Presidential Palace, Panathenaic Stadium, and the Acropolis Museum.
● Join us as we head over to Point A (Acropolis Point) for lunch.
● You’ll be picked up at the hotel and driven to the marina for dinner at the Michelin-starred Varoulko Seaside Restaurant.
Did you know: The Panathenaic Stadium hosted the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, but its history dates back much further. Originally constructed in 330 BCE to host the Panathenaic Games, it was a venue for athletic competitions, including running and chariot races. The stadium was rebuilt in marble in the 2nd century CE.

● Today, we depart Athens and make our way to Nafplio, one of the most romantic cities in mainland Greece. This picturesque town, located in the northeastern part of the Peloponnese, is known for its charming old town, beautiful Venetian architecture, narrow cobblestone streets, and seaside promenade.
● On our drive from Athens, we’ll stop to see the archaeological site of Mycenae.
TTG Tip: For a challenging hike with a worthwhile payoff, take the 999 steps up to the Palamidi Fortress in Nafplio. Once you reach the top, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the town and the Argolic Gulf.

● Join us on a Sea Kayak Nafplio and Medieval Castles Tour.
● Drive through the Arcadian Mountains en route to Sparta, home to the ancient Spartans like King Leonidas and his 300.
● This evening, settle into your luxurious wellness resort in nearby Mystras.
Did you know: Sparta's military culture required all male citizens to undergo extensive training starting at the age of seven. Boys were placed in communal living groups where they endured harsh physical training, learned survival skills, and were taught loyalty to the state.
● Visit the UNESCO-listed ruins of Mystras, where you’ll see a well-preserved medieval fortress, palaces, churches, and monasteries showcasing impressive Byzantine architecture and frescoes. Mystras's crucial role in the Byzantine Renaissance makes it a fascinating destination for history enthusiasts.
● For dinner, enjoy traditional Greek cuisine at Chromata Restaurant.

● Today, we’ll travel to the western Peloponnese via the Messinian Valley, famous for high quality olive oil and Kalamata olives.
● Enjoy your afternoon at the prestigious Westin Resort, famous for its stunning amenities. Relax by the inviting pool, play a round of golf, unwind in the spa, or challenge yourself on the tennis courts.
Did you know: If you’ve ever had a Kalamata olive, it was grown here. The name has Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status within the European Union, which means that only olives grown in this specific region can be called Kalamatas.

● On a tour of Ancient Olympia, we’ll see the Temples of Zeus and Hera and the location of the original Olympic Games.
● Join us for an exquisite dinner experience at Armyra by Papaioannou.
Did you know: Beginning in 776 BCE, the original Olympic Games were held as part of a religious festival in honor of Zeus. The games included various athletic competitions, like races, wrestling, and the javelin throw.

● Spend today relaxing at the hotel or exploring at your own pace.
* If you have any particular destinations you'd like to explore, restaurants you'd like to dine at, or activities you're interested in, let your tour guide know. They will arrange everything to ensure your experience is truly exceptional.
Suggested activity: The area surrounding Costa Navarino is filled with trails, making it perfect for exploring on a hike or bike ride. Try the 4-kilometer Polylimnio Waterfalls Trail, which is of moderate difficulty and should take around 1-2 hours to complete.

● As we travel east toward the center of Greece, we’ll cross the Rio–Antirrio Bridge. At 1.79 miles long, it’s one of the world’s longest multi-span cable-stayed bridges.
● Take a guided tour of Delphi, an ancient religious sanctuary dedicated to Apollo.
Did you know: According to ancient Greek mythology, Zeus wanted to determine the center of the earth, so he released two eagles from opposite ends of the world, and they met at Delphi, signifying it as the world's center.
● Spend today relaxing at the resort or exploring the nearby village of Arachova.
* If you have any particular destinations you'd like to explore, restaurants you'd like to dine at, or activities you're interested in, let your tour guide know. They will arrange everything to ensure your experience is truly exceptional.
Suggested activity: Wander through the charming streets of Arachova, admiring its traditional stone houses, wooden balconies, and beautiful vistas. The town's elevation offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. You’ll also find numerous shops selling local products such as handmade rugs, woolen textiles, and local wines and spirits.

● After our drive back to Athens today, get ready to explore the city on a Athens Ancient City tour.
Did you know that Athens is one of the few cities in the world with an ancient river flowing beneath its modern streets? Look out for glimpses of the Ilisos River near the Byzantine church of Agia Photini.

● You’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken to the Athens airport for a flight to Mykonos.
● On arrival in Mykonos, you’ll be picked up and transferred to your hotel.
● Take a moment to freshen up before heading out for a delightful half-day Mykonos tour.
● Join us for dinner at Efisia Greek Fine Dining, where exquisite cuisine and a luxurious atmosphere await you.
TTG Tip: The Little Venice area is the place to be at sunset. Here, colorful balconied fishermen’s houses seem to hang over the sea, and there’s a vibrant atmosphere at the waterfront bars and tavernas.

● Ride the ferry from Mykonos to Delos with a local guide to visit the UNESCO–listed island.
Did you know: Greek mythology says that Delos was the birthplace of the twin gods Apollo and Artemis. A sanctuary dedicated to Apollo attracted pilgrims from all over the Greek world.

● On arrival in Santorini, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel.
● Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, perhaps strolling along the cobblestone streets and watching the world-famous sunset.
TTG Tip: Santorini is best explored from the sea. Book a sunset cruise to sail through the crystal clear water, swim in the mouth of an ancient volcano, and dine on Greek specialties.

● Today will be a treat for the palate. Our tour begins at a celebrated Santorini winery and ends with dinner and a sunset view at Lycabettus Restaurant in Oia.
Did you know: Santorini’s volcanic soil, rich in minerals and low in organic matter, imparts a distinct flavor to the wines produced there.

● Today, you’ll travel to Crete, Greece’s largest island.
● You’ll be picked up at the hotel and transferred to the Santorini port for your ferry across the Aegean Sea.
● On arrival in Crete, a driver will take you to your hotel in Elounda.
Did you know: Elounda is known for its luxurious resorts, but it’s also home to the partially submerged ancient city of Olous. Today, remnants of the city can still be seen underwater, making it a popular spot for snorkeling and diving enthusiasts exploring its submerged ruins.

● Enjoy a free day relaxing at your hotel, exploring the island, or join us a Spinalonga Yacht Cruise.
TTG Tip: For a unique experience in Elounda, visit the Elounda Salt Pans. These historical salt flats offer a serene and picturesque setting – perfect for a peaceful walk – especially at sunset when the colors reflect off the water. Nearby, you can find small, secluded beaches that aren’t typically crowded.

● Fly back to Athens for your last day in Greece.
● Airport transfers are included in Crete and Athens.
TTG Tip: For your final night in Athens, we recommend dinner at a rooftop restaurant that offers views of the Acropolis, like Dionysos Zonar’s or Strofi.

● Bid farewell to Athens. As your journey comes to an end, please remember to arrange your own transfer to the airport.
